we will be hunting the 7-32 area as its the area my buddy knows the best because he works in that area. Good to hear the moose are doing good. It should be good, I havent hunted up there before. but the pics of the deer he sends me every year are very impressive.

I didnt get any LEH's this year, first time ever!! Gonna spend a week up in Chetwynd in late october, and hope to find my first elk. But i know they are hard to find that time of year. WT and moose are also open though. Should be a good trip.

Here are a few pics of my spring bear from this year, not as big as last years but not bad. I followed this guy for about 15 minutes up the road, as he was moving from side to side rubbing and breaking trees. It was a fun stalk. And finally got to break in my 270wsm.

just wondering those of you shooting any of the wsm's if when your resizing, you full length resize or neck size? This is the first time ive reloaded for a short mag and was taught to just neck size when reloading, except the very first time sizing the shell. Heres my problem, im finding it...

I got a 270wsm a couple months ago and love it so far, im still fine tuning though. I prettty close though. Today with a 140 AB, with RL-17, i got a 0.5 inch group, two in the same hole and one 1/2inch away, at 3178fps average. Im too picky though, i want them all in the same hole, haha.

anyone tried reloader 17 in the 300 mag? im gonna try it with 200 gr accubonds pretty soon

ya I like the accubonds. Im having great results with RL-17

well i tried out more etips, nothing promising yet. The 140 AB seem to be shooting better, and with more velocity. So i think they will be my go to bullet this spring.

Thanks Dr.Mike. I was planning on starting lower than that with the etips. How much RL-17 are you using in your 270wsm with the etips? I was looking through old posts trying to find it, but couldn't. thanks

I have friend who is doing load development for his 340 weatherby, and he is thinking of trying H1000. It isnt listed in any of the books though. Anyone have any experience with this powder in this cartridge? Thanks.
