Maybe the wrong place to air this, if so feel free to delete or move.
I keep seeing quite a few folks wanting heavies for LR shooting and decided to do a run or two.
My reasoning was does the speed(velocity for purists  ) you give up while adding a little recoil make enough difference to...
Just a heads up and not an endorsement of any store.
The Winchester run of brass seems to be in and there are a few hard to finds there.
Just a public service.

Just noticed Ruger brought out a 6.5 Creedmoor in the American Predator with bolt on the wrong side.
Thought the southpaws here might be interested.

For those reloading for extended range (800-1000yds and up) what processes are you using to keep ES down?
Concentricity, annealing, etc.
I'm just curious as I have a number of little things I do but am always seeking to improve it. (you don't have to reveal your big secrets  )
Obviously...
Unbelievable they actually released these numbers.
Kind of proves a point.

Been working on this one recently. If I had more 110 ABs I could confirm this load (things seem to be scarce as hen's teeth right now  )
I built this one on a Savage action.
24" barrel, 2 contour, 1-10 twist.
NOTE: load is safe in my rifle, can't say as to others.
Hornady 22-250 brass...
I simply cannot resist looking at new rifles or special editions.
Saw this one at Lipsey's. Cool chambering.

A 24" 7X57 with that stamping just seems cool.
Edit: Sorry guys, I just realized I stuck this in reloading...
I DREW!!!! (y)
Letter came today. Saw the envelope figured it was the old "gee, sorry but not this year" letter.
Surprise!
Starts off "Congratulations! You've been drawn for the 2016 Kentucky elk hunt and have drawn an at large Anterless Firearms Elk Permit for the first week firearms...
Couldn't stand it. Had loads worked up for a while but the wind won't quit. So I shot. 18 mph gusts to 25:grin:
6.5-06 AI, 56.5 RL26, 140 AB, 3040, 100 yds
260 AI, 48.5 H4831SC, 140 AB, 2955 fps
6-284, 53 RL26, 105 Berger, 3340 fps
Think I'll shorten the 6.5-06 a hair and that should be close.
Saw these and online reviews sounded good. Looks like if the reviews are true to be a very capable rangefinder at the price point.
Wondered if any of you had actual experience with one?
Thanks!

First year hunting my 444. Last year the 45-70 took care of business very well but after buying this late summer I decided it needed the exposure. AND, as you all well know, an unblooded rifle in the safe is a shame and downright sad.
No monster but this year was meat year as my two grown...
I usually take one of my nephews out to my stands during Ohio's youth season. The past couple days my oldest nephew kept me company.
Yesterday was a wash, literally and physically. Morning saw nothing, downpours in the evening with snow flurries after dark.
Today was cold. Three walked past...
