Will do. Right now it's a battle of the 6mm, 257, and 6.5. The 6.5 Creedmoor has been brought up and Terry found one of the Vanguards chambered in it. I have been lusting for a Creedmoor but not sure of its performance on game.

Will definitely look at the 243. Any thoughts on the 260? I saw you can get bullets as light as 100 grains and all the way up to 160, but the 130s and 140s sure look like a good balance of power and speed?

If one was looking at a 18" barreled 308 versus a 7-08 sporting a 20-22" barrel, what would the down range difference be considering velocity and energy? Would it depend on the type of bullet used in each rifle? May have another project on the fire [emoji6]

I handled the Affinity quite a bit it and it is at the top of my list right next to the Benelli M2. The Benelli felt a tad better but the Affinity was almost there with it, and the Affinity offered everything but the comfortech stock for less money.

Nice! What did you do with the McMillan you had on it originally Jeff? I may look at the AX chassis for my next build in either 6.5 or 6mm Creedmoor.
