.45ACP loads for 185gr JHP?

I am starting to reload using the 185gr JHP from nosler.

my powder of choice would be Vihtavouri N310
Winchester match cases and CCI standrad primers.

Has anyone tried this combo and recommend a powder load?

Or got any accurate formula for this bullet using other powders?

I haven't tried the VV powders, just too hard to find & usually quite expensive. Just about anything works well in the 45acp from Clays * TG to BlueDot & PowerPistol. I like the 185grJHP in my 45acp, many others prefer the 230gr. Right now I am using 8gr of Unique for a full power load, giving 1000fps in my OM & 1050fps in my 1911. I use WST for lighter target/plinking loads, try 5.2gr for about 900fps, very accurate.

I'm in the same situation as Fred in that VV powders are really hard to find in this neck of the woods. I also happen to like 8.0grs. of Unique with a 185gr. Nosler JHP for a full power load. This load has worked quite well in several different .45's I have tried it in.
