Interesting story on thr old Marlin, factory records indicate the one in pictures is part of a 2 gun order, a fellow ordered one for him, and one for his wife. Both PG guns with full Octagon barrels, his is 30" extra long, hers was 28" extra long. His has extra engraving, fancier wood, the guns had consecutive ser#. Guns came outta California, back in early 90's. I bought them both and later sold the 28" gun to another collector. I guess it was a shame to break them up, but seamed like the right thing to do financially at the time!
