Am looking to do some low budget hog hunting, not looking to hire a guide. Looking for info on a do it yourself kind of hunt. Any accurate info is appreciated, thank you.

I do a lot of hog hunting

Pig out a bunch of corn and use the wind to your advantage.

If it is hot, put corn around water

All the crazy concoctions people make and they sell don't work any better than plain old corn.

You can't beat their nose so always keep wind in mind.

Add old moldy bread to the mix. The smell goes and goes and goes. We had them lie down on the bread and continue to eat.

+1. Down here, they bed down in the palmettos in the high mid-day heat, hence why we run them with dogs. Dusk is a good time to get after them.
