I got a few minutes to run out to the range and start load development on my replacement load for the 300 rum. Rp brass ramshot magnum rem 9.5m primers and 200 ab. started .120" off the lands. It shows a promising start I do still have more loads to shoot just to make sure but I think I can settle on a few of these with piece of mind.

Other th an stacking them one on top of the other, I don't see that you have a long ways to go !! That is great shooting. The 96 load is outstanding.

Thanks! This rifle has shocked me time after time. Everything I have loaded in it has shot well and consistent.

Yeah, I'd say your load work is about finished. Congratulations on a fine load.

Looking good!
Re shoot the 96.0 gr load and then play with the COL.

Yeah, it's hard to not like anything between 96-97 grains. That's varmint rifle accurate. Any idea on the speeds?

Very nice shooting. That's a good day when you have results like that.

Honestly no idea of speed just yet. Reloaded those few steps to shoot over crony. I was using data from nosler 6 manual. Which states 94-99 gr of powder. But I just cracked open nosler 7 and it states 89-93 gr. So I'm unsure. I have zero pressure signs and after resizing cases only needed to be trimmed .002 of an inch. So I'm hoping today I can swing to the range and run then over the crony.

No worries. Appreciate the input. Very interested in your results. That rifle sounds like a real sweet heart.

Very nice looking groups. I'd pick a charge between 96-97 sight it in and be done.

So I took the 96 gr load and went to verify. Looks like I am done. And as for elk season. I don't think they will mind the velocity much at all.the piece of tape is .25"x.25"

Yes I would say you are just about there . That is a great load and with a 300RUM I believe the Elk should be very nervous out to quite a distance .
Thanks for sharing & for the photos too.

Blessings,
Dan

Ya it shoots great when I do what I'm supposed too. Oh and velocity was much more than expected. 3179 avg.
