accuracy improved. but in order to remove the breech plug have to remove the rear action screw to remove bolt i switched to the 3/8 plug now can be changed easier without changing anything found consistent bullet seating helps accuracy also- admitt

ihsako, i replied to your other post also i have a stainless steel laminated savage i bought new i bed the pillars and the action freefloated the barrrel. i did switch breech plugs to the new 3/8 socket eaiser to remove without loosening the action screws .have harvested deer and bear very...- admitt

ihsako, i have been shooting a savage since 2009 my go to load is vv12o with a mmp orange sabot and a 300gr barnes original it also likes parker 300 gr. barnes 300gr with 5744 and hornandy pistol bullet.all shoot sub moa.very easy to clean.- admitt
