Good idea. With the new Tactacam cameras you can screw into the back of the camera as well as the bottom so a shorter bolt could be used if available.

NW Oregon didn’t get hit as hard as they did up in Washington. Our home is on a hill so away from any possible flooding personally.

I was happy to find this new in the box shooting bench for cheap on local Market Place. I haven’t shot off of it yet but it felt pretty solid when I got it put together and set up. Will make a good one for moving around after the ground squirrels.

Elk getting an afternoon snack.

I was up quite a ways and I wasn’t expecting them to react like that. Deer and elk hardly pay it any mind even if they do see it.

Got a pic on the trail cam of one cougar and put the drone in the air to see if I could catch it in the open. I wasn’t expecting to see what I saw. Video not great as things were happening quick and I had to maintain altitude to clear the power lines. I think this is the mother and two kittens...

The elk spent the afternoon on the homestead so I flew the drone up to see how the herd is doing. Just the ladies and the littles but they all look like they’re doing well. I always like to see the calves. Between my place and the neighbor’s place there are at least 4 cougars hanging around and...

That is a great set up for a trail camera. Certainly some good looking animals. I haven’t seen meany trail camera pics of pronghorns before.

I was surprised to see this cat wandering around in the middle of the afternoon. I’m thinking it looks a bit skinny so probably looking for an easy meal.

I’ve had good luck with the Tactacam Reveal cameras. They are all set up locally on the homestead so I use a battery box with a 12 volt battery rather than AA batteries.

Quite a few calves in the homestead herd this year. I always like to see them on the game cameras.

I didn’t want to get the drone too close to this many birds so the quality isn’t good but does give some idea of all of the birds and critters after an easy meal following the ships upstream as they churn the little fish to the surface with their propellers.
