the recoil is so low as to ignore it even with HOT 175TGK. with 150ABLR and 165ABLR, i don't notice recoil. i'm used to getting ROCKED by 235gr 375 Taylor loads at 2900fps. it seems to be a shame that the 270 Bee didn't have a 1:8 twist with 7mm MAG murdering HIGH BC 165 to 175 bullets. i...

even without freebore, pressures lower when you give even a small jump to the lands. it lowers accuracy, but also lower 'early' pressures. HOWEVER, shortening COAL raises compressive powder pressures. it is a balancing act and experience. BE CAREFUL PLEASE!

of course start with 10 percent below max and watch pressures. different cases matter. i use the best cases to avoid over pressures. norma, weatherby,etc cases. smith cases for my 460 smith mag, winchester for my 375 TAYLOr mag. remington for my 350 rem mag.

I am up to 74 grains of retumbo behind 165ABLR 3150fps. Still no pressure signs. I have a few hundred 170 noslers I haven’t started loads for. I imagine retumbo will do fine for that too. I am in love with the rechamber to 270 fast twist weatherby.
