    Alliant Powder and Canucks

Wholesale Sport just received a large shipment of Alliant powder which was pretty well sold out at the mail order level in a few days. The individual stores now are receiving stock but most are limiting quantities.

    Recovered Partition Gold

Yes it is! LoL Before he went on the trip I told him to shoot a nice 2 year old. The old guy was the only legal animal he saw in a week of hunting so he shot it. Even the gravy was tough ............................... ;) LoL

    Recovered Partition Gold

I was just cleaning up files on my computer and ran across these pictures of a couple 250 grain .338 Partition Gold bullets we loaded for my friends bison hunt a few years ago. The bison - a ~ 2000 pound mature bull - was a true wild animal taken in Northern British Columbia. Tim took the...

Fed GMM 215M primers in stock

"This item out of stock" That didn't take long eh?

It has started here in Regina

Things are starting to get a bit thin here in the BC interior too. The local stores are running low on primers and .22 rimfire ammo of all things. Most of the popular powders have been sold out and the bullet selections are limited. The gun racks are starting to empty and no one within a...

    Savage 99 250-3000

Don't be scared to try the 110 grain Accubond. I have taken 3 mule deer in the last 3 years - one over 300 pounds - and none required a second shot.

    Is this a good Chronograph?

Great Canadian-made unit! 8) The F1 is a good little chrony and all you will need is a pad and pencil to keep track of your strings.

RCBS Case Master or Hornady Concentricity Gage

I use the RCBS Casemaster and have no complaints. 8)

    270 win 130 nosler

With the 28" barrel it is very easy to get 3300 fps with a 130 grain bullet but accuracy suffers. The trigger on mine - the Browning version of the 1885 - is very good. I just noticed you are from Denmark. You may recognize another very accurate rifle I own. 8)

    270 win 130 nosler

Yes, it's 28" long. It easily matches 270 wsm velocities and is nipping at the heels of the 270 WBY. Even with the 28" hex barrel the rifle is still easy to pack as it weighs just over 9 pounds with the 3-9x50 scope in the picture. The overall length is also quite modest with the very short...

    270 win 130 nosler

Yes, I agree the Highwalls are a nice piece of engineering. This one of mine has seen plenty of use as a "long-range" rifle for shooting across a logging clear-cut or an alfalfa field.

RL 22 has produced very good results for me. 8) This rifle is quite accurate with just about any quality bullet but it really loves the 130gr and Reloder 22 and will print an honest repeatable 1/2 MOA. Sometimes it does even better as show by this picture.

    Nosler 7

Sales tax and customs inspection "fees" are really hit and miss. The last 4 packages I have received from the US have cleared the border without any hassle or costs. Nothing like playing the border bingo game. ;) LoL With that said I finally had the 7x61 Sharpe and Hart brass I had an importer...

    #7 IS IN MY HANDS!

I received mine - which I ordered through Sinclairs -the other day and think the way the content is presented is great. I have to ask why a number of cartridges - the 25 wssm for example - have been moved out of the main body of the manual and put in the appendix? :?: Also ...
