Remington 700 375rum left hand and a weatherby mark v 340 left hand. Pretty sure I will have to build the rum , I need two more big boomers like a hole in the head. Perhaps a 416 rem mag🤔

Weatherby brass or nosler , 3.676 partition, 3.710 accubond. Fed 215 gm primers

81 grains Imr 7828 200 grain partition out of a 26” krieger in my mark v running around 3060-3070 fps. Now that I can no longer find 7828 I switched to h1000 83 grains and get the same accuracy and speed. 200 grain accubond produce the same results with both loads and powders.

I shoot the 175 partitions in my set up only because during deer and elk season I may run across a black bear. Stout bullets for a stout animal. Not that a 160 won’t get it done , but why chance it.

That bulls a fighter broken and chipped points. He has really good beam length. Hopefully he covered plenty of cows.

Reminds me of my sons football games in cle elum Washington, the youngest said as they were walking out hey dad there’s elk sh*t on the field. All I could say was don’t run a sweep to the left,🤣

I bought a few boxes of these ballistic tip as well just for barrel break in and the brass. But I would pass on shooting them for elk. My two cents there’s accubonds and there’s partitions.

Yes accubonds can be destructive even at 200 yards with a muzzle velocity of 3250 out of a 6.5-300 weatherby

Can you please shoot a coyote with that 165 ballistic tip. I am fairly certain you wouldn’t have much to skin out.
