Just bought a new weaver 6-24x42 for my savage 11f in 223 and reloaded some new brass with some 55 noslers and som 50 v max and the 50 v max group @ .5 at 100 yds. Im a first timer for reloading but i think i got the hang of it...My first loads were loose and i found a load that would tighten...

Thanks Guy's..just started reloading...should I load for the cartridge to fit the magazine because the lands are a bit forward..I believe I read that here..I know that if I take a 69 grain sierra and seat it to just touch the lands it wont fit in the mag..just wondering! Thanks

What is the lowest grain bullet for this barrel (That will stabilize) I have a Savage 11F in .223 and have loaded up some 69 grain bthp and some 55 v max, and 55 noslers to try out soon if the weather breaks, what is to small for yotes @ 200-300yds

Can anyone tell me if the case specs in the manual are max specs or is it just a guideline, I see different spec in different manuals...Dont want to blow my face off...thanks

Is the case length in the manual a max length?

I bought some new brass the other day and the case length is 1.755, manual has the length at 1.760 for 55 grn solid base ballistic tip (orange)...Just want to be safe..and if I trim the case just a hair is will put me shorter, or is the lenght in the manual a max trim?..Thanks
