    As for reduced loads I've had good luck using H4895 or IMR4895 60% rule as covered in the manufacturers load articles, referenced for reduced loads.

    Deer running after being hit?

    I always prefer two holes for tracking purposes (innie & outie). If conditions aren't great for tracking (rain or last light) a neck shot on the point of the shoulder always anchors them.
