Yes, the 6,5-284 i excellent !! 53,5 grains Hodgdon H1000 and a 140 grains Nosler Partion gives me a V3 of 2780 fps and ½" groups at 100 m in my Sako with a 26 " Schultz & Larsen barrel.

55 gr Nosler Accubond in .224, 140 gr bonded Partition in .264 and 350 gr Partition in .416 That's all 8)

You don't need af 150+ grains Partition bullet. You just need a bonded version of the 140 grains Partition :wink:

Here is a photo of my roebuck from may this year. I shot him with my Sako 6,5-284. Got him at a distance of 140 m and he dropped in his tracks.

I have a Mauser 98 in cal. 6,5x55 and I would like to have a little more power that the standard 6,5x55 can give me. My idea is to recamber it to 6,5x55 AI. Anyone who has tried this caliber and what are your experiences?

Yes, I've got a Kongsberg 393 Lux in 358 Norma and I really like this Scandinavian combination :grin: (Danish hunter/Norwegian rifle/Swedish cartridge). Reloading is easy and recoil is manageable. It is very effective on game. I haven’t shot a lot with the rifle, but it has until now been one...

Just got a new scope for my 222 rem., a Nikon buckmaster 6-18x40. I got it from The Optic Zone and it comes with target knobs and a sunscade at no extra charge. Great scope !

Hi POP, On reloadersnest I found a load for the 400 grains Barnes X with 64 grains Reloder 15. I think i will use that as a starting point for the 400 grains Nosler Partition and work up from there. Thanks Skovbo

I woted for the 6,5-284 Norma. If I could have chosen another caliber it would have been the 416 Taylor.
