I too was never a 30-06 fanboy. Always favored the 308 myself . I did however buy a #1 in 30-06. It shoots 150gr Partitions well. Want to try some 165gr Ballastic tips since I have a large supply of them on hand.

Looks good. Been wanting one in 22lr but the store never has one in stock they have every other caliber and even a few left handed ones.

I have a #1 RSI in 257 Robert’s and it loves 80gr TTSX. I do have have some 110gr Accubonds that I want to try. Previous owner said it shined with 120gr Partitions.

With that mind set I may as well get a 338 Lapua.

I had originally gotten the rifle around 2000 and was having some work done on it a few years later and the gunsmith messed up my action so I just put everything in the safe and left it set. Finally decided to get a new action and have a reputable gunsmith do the work.

If my long shots weren’t under 100 yards I would keep it and use it. It’s a little much at 50 yards for white tailed deer.
