I run the 168gr NBT in my rifle with a book max load of Varget . Prints right at 3/4 inch. It was the first load I tried and didn’t go any further with load development since season was already in. Varget is always a good choice for the 308.

A nice 1911 in 9mm is always a good choice for another pistol.

I do the same. Got a set of 7-08 dies probably 5 years before I found the rifle I wanted. One piece at a time.

So are you saying the VX-3HD with the Duplex reticle has been reduced to $250 ?

I have some 115 or 120gr with the canalure. I got them as factory seconds a few years ago. They were made for an ammo maker that wanted the canalure.

I lived in WNC about 20 years ago. There is plenty of area around there to hunt mostly mountains. We have family in the Asheville area and it’s super liberal. A Gay Soldier I served with called it the SanFrancisco of the east coast. Property is expensive in that area as well and traffic is crazy.

Just ordered this Gear Pack 4.25 inch in 9mm. $900 out the door. Now I need to get a OWB holster with the optic cut.

I agree, all the ladies in my family love the way the 5 inch 1911 in 9mm feels. For me it’s just not as comfortable to carry as a 4.25 inch 1911 with my style of concealed carry.

I like the Ronin. I got the 5 inch model in 9mm . Great shooting pistol. Looking at the 4.25 inch gear pac now, it comes with factory red dot and 3 mags.

I carried my Kimber in with me and compared them side by side. I also looked at a Springfield TRP in 9mm but didn’t like that little cut off angle at the bottom of the grip/mag well. Maybe I just need to look for a Kimber with the optic cut slide. The hand wants what the hand wants no matter...

I was going to buy a Springfield Armory Prodigy DS this morning but it didn’t fit my hand like my Kimber 1911 and it was heavy.

My Wife keeps wanting to go to my shop and clean/organize. I am afraid to let her in, she will want to throw stuff away.

That 25 RPM sounds interesting with those heavier bullet offerings.

I plan on getting rid of several of my guns this coming year. I would like a fast twist 6mm or 25 cal. Maybe Ruger will do a #1 in a caliber that catches my eye this year.
