I carried 140 Accubonds in my 708 on my elk hunt. 48grs of h4350 in ww brass and cci200’s. Mine was under MOA out to 600yds.

Longshot is great in my G20.

The old 35 Rem is hard to top.

The Hornady 105 hpbt has been stellar in my .243’s on everything they’ve hit.

If anyone is using a Tikka .223 8 twist and would like the option of running longer pointed bullets here is a great option. Mine has been running like a top with no hiccups. Mag room is 2.550”...

All my Rugers shoot great. Free Float Stone the trigger and clip a couple coils off the spring, if untouched they are quite heavy Open the floor plate and be sure the mag box is free and you can move it. If not take the action out and file the bottom of the box and cut down the points...

I shoot from 200-800 down and across a couple private lakes and everything seems normal.

My .260 Remington would be the last I would let go of. I’m still mad I didn’t buy one of the ADL .260’s when they rereleased them with the 8 twist. Another one that I really enjoy is the .358 Winchester.

Don’t lube the shoulders

I think your post years ago lead my to H1000. H1000 with 105’s in my 243 and cci250’s got consistent hits at 1000yds on a 18” plate using a Leupold mark ar 3-9x40 with straight duplex. I bought quite a bit of H1000 because it performs so well.

Match bullets I’ve used or seen used 140 eldm 6.5mm - a few deer and a lot of hogs. Excellent performance, great expansion and penetration 105 hpbt match 6mm Hornady - whitetails and a few other critters. Excellent performance 123 Scenar 6.5mm - whitetails - excellent performance 139...

H4895 3031 200gr bullets at 2550fps 220 Speer and 225 Accubond at 2450fps with both powders and groups around 1”.
