    I'm shifting back to bolt actions myself. Two Tikka T3x and two Savage 110. All get my special "women's touches". SRS Hunter Rails (ARCA/Picatinny combo rails), muzzle brakes, Backfire Shop recoil pads, lighter trigger springs, and Glades Armory tactical bolt handles.

    Mark, The old Winchester Lubalox Ballistic Silvertip coating was a black oxide wax coating. Completely different from the Hexagonal Boron Nittride coating being discussed here. Buy yourself some Speer Gold Dots and give them a whirl.

    In a way it is. I want more people to use and ask for HBN factory coated bullets so more will be available in more calibers and weights for me. I shoot a 270-08 and want to use 130 gr HBN coated bullets. But Spear only offers 90gr and 115gr in that caliber. I haven't bought a 280 Ackley Improved...
