The REALLY nasty solvents can damage the paint if left on for an extended period of time, but a few stray drops wiped up quickly won't hurt anything. Hope that helps! SF

3.425" is the mag-box length, so your cartridge OAL will need to be less than that. The short-action mag-box length is 2.875". Hope that clears up the confusion! :grin: SF

Yep--Talley Lightweight Low rings fit just fine. The ocular bell hangs over the back of the base a bit, but the bolt clears just fine. You will want to mount the front ring such that the ring is flipped rearward so that you can adjust for eye relief. If I was smart enough to post pictures on...
