56 grains of rl17 and the 165 A-Bond in Norma cases and a cci 200 primer for me. My Kimber Classic Select and a Bartlein barreled Remington both love this recipe.

Been thinking,hoping,the same thing. The 145 ELD-X doesn't perform well in my Tikka at mag length. Maybe seated out a little longer. No point in my mind being a hunting rifle. I just have to wonder if the Game Changer won't suffer similarly. Bullets that carry their weight out more to the tip...

In comparison. An old school 130 grain Grand Slam. Same test. Same rifle and load.

Here is a 130 grain 270 I fired into some water jugs. The first jug was a rather robust detergent jug. The range was 100 yards. The same test shredded a 168 grain .30 cal Ballistic Tip. I would have no qualms about using these for elk in my 270 Win.
