For the deer she used a 120 TSX and the goat was a 100 HSP. For some reason, her gun doesnt care for Nosler stuff.
My goat was taken with a 110gr. Accubond
This is a pronghorn she took in NM last year with the .260
This was her deer with the .260 from 2005.
She has a deer tag for AZ this October and the .260 will be coming!
Is the solid base the same as the partition with a different base? How would these hold up on an Oryx or Elk where heavy bone mass could be encountered?
I just bought one, havent made it to the range yet. Going to drop an SSS trigger in it and a varmit barrel if the factory one is questionable. If I go that route, a have a DuraMaxx stock also. Couldnt pass it up for the price.
Placed an order yesterday for the new 130gr. 6.5 Accubond for my .260 Remington. Anyone got them yet and had a chance to send some down range?
If I can get these up and running, I may try them on deer in a few weeks. I will report back on range results...
Wondering what load data to...
I will give a a try in my daughters M700 and in my project Stevens 200 that will have a .260 barrel put on soon. Maybe Nosler can hook up with Winchester or Federal and commerically produce this load???? Not that I care as I reload but some quality loaded ammo that is affordable might breathe...

I had to load the 100gr Hornady because the 100gr. Partitions were not available in my area. I would not hesitate to use this load on deer. Now if Nosler can get the 6.5 Accubond on the market...
Cloverleaf,
If that's what it takes, get her one for herself and paint it pink if she wants. Those memories last forever.
Derek,
It was outside of Vaughn, NM.
Next month I will take the 25-06 out for CA deer
November I will head back to NM for deer. That should be fun!
Naming them made it easier to know which one we were talking about. Wanna know how "Ricco" got his name? Hint... Short for Ricco Suave. He was quite the ladies man.
She shoots a Remington 700 Mountain Rifle. This load was 100 grain Hornadys over some RL-15.
The hunt started on Saturday. On Friday night, we did some scouting and she saw her first rattlesnake. Scared her pretty good. We saw her buck on Friday and named him "Crip" (short for cripple) as...
