it seems my wife wants her own 12ga. :shock: so being the good husband that i am ill try to find her one,,, id like to find another rem 870 12ga with inter-changable chokes at a good price ,, doesnt really have to be a rem. but it does have to be a good gun not one of those wal-mart $100.00...

i to use the RCBS beam scale and the RCBS trickler,,, these two pieces have been all i need and do what they were made for,,, i would however love to have a digital powder thrower but i dont load offten enough to justify the money they cost :roll:

thanks guys,,,, im really wanting to try the RL-17 ,,, its been sitting on the shelve for awhile un-opend ,,i bought it to try in the 270wsm just have'nt got around to it yet :roll: im thinking one of the 4350's would also be a good load aswell it seems you cant go wrong with a 4350 :wink:

i finally got a new barrel ( used but in good shape ) for my Encore ,, i took it out and got it sighted in with factory ammo,, now im gonna load for this one as well,, im looking for load suggestions with this caliber,, the powders that i have on hand are as follows...

this year it was a rem 870 ( bought from POP awhile back on this site ) with some rem 3.5" nitros and a rem super full turkey choke :wink: we took 4 toms with it so it must work ,, those 3.5" shells sure will put a whompin on you tho :lol:

i couldnt belive it myself,,, we were driving from one spot to another and the gf seen um up the hill in a little clearing ,, they were setting there pretty as you please just dusting themselves in the dirt i didnt think i had a chance one in sneaking up on um ,, they must have had dirt in...

went to the cabin thur. for turkey season on fri. and ended up taggin out on fri. :shock: between me and the girlfriend we took 4 birds,,, two of them were pretty good size one had a 8.5 inch beard and the other had a 9 inch thats pretty good for around here,, the spurs on the two bigger birds...
