So the pic is from few years ago or this is the one that just killed some goats. Sorry cant figure out the story. Cat looks like has a good head on it.
Interesting I worked for Muskwa outfitters in 81 or 82 we had a camp on the prophet and up the hunted up the Muskwa as well I think the 2 areas are
now combined or owned by 1 guy now. Beautiful country saw lots of great animals, always wanted to go back on my own but never did.
It was called...
A late season stone ram the cape would be beautiful especially if dark.
The late ones out of the muskwa/prophet area use to be beautiful
how they went from black to grey to white.
Was it a old ram shot on age or a full curl, or both.
I have tried them, just cant seem to get them to shoot as well as the BTSP same as the hot cor spitzer, shoot ok in one gun but not as well
in the other 2 and I have a few 100 of them but down to the last 20 BTSP
Good luck with the gun, i really like the 700 BDL, have owned 7 of them and as mentioned like the older ones. first one was a 30-06 i think in late 70s maybe early 80s have since sold the 3 magnums and one of the 280s and had the 22-250 rebarreled into a 7mm-08.
In the 30-06 best i have found in...
beautiful looking country, I like hunting goats, know of 6 people who drew here so
should get in on a few goat hunts. Personally like hunting them in November, do you guys get
to much snow to hunt them there at that time of year.
