With 1.8 grains capacity difference on a case that large, I would think lot to lot powder variations would have a bigger impact. Why? Varget, it was a learning experience.
All 1-9"s are not created equal, you will have to experiment to figure out your barrel. I have had barrels (16" AR) that would put them point on at 100, but never tried them any further out. My CZ 527 Varmint refused to keep them on the same page.

I do not believe there is a direct correlation between reduced velocity and accuracy. A number of competitive sports are pushing things hard. Do not try this at home.
Look at F-TR loads in 223 with 90 grain bullets. These are 30" barrels with .169"+ freebore, 2.5"+ OALs, and scary pressures...
As some have said, the better the brass you buy, the less important it is to sort. I wish I had started buying Lapua much earlier and wasted less time trying to turn cheap brass into something it wasn't.
