Hi
I used 1oogrs Partition for roe-deer, wildboar and chamois from 35 to 300 meters in my Remington Mohawk with best results, always with exit holes and enough blood to find the game.
My Nr. 1 - there is no shadow of a doubt - are pics !!!
... a driven hunt in the mountain woods - an old-beech-forest in the sun with snow - a troop of pics - and a fine double-rifle in 9.3x74R : the hunter´s paradise

My favourite load since mor than 20 years is 150 grs Nosler Partition in front of 58 grs Dupont IMR 4350 with a CCI BR2 primer in a MAUSER 66 rifle with a ZEISS 1,5-6x42.
Fine load for roe-deer, pics and deer size animals, not the hottest load but a good one.
Greetings from South-Germany
This male wildboar (in german called KEILER) was stopped by my 107-years old cock-double rifle made by Miller & Greis, Munich Cal 9.3x74R by a driven hunt in South Germany (Pfälzerwald). Thanks to John Nosler and his men for the superb Partition bullet but sorry: It was a head-shot between the...
hello JD338, I started reloading in 1978 in the age of sixteen, when I got my german hunting license. My hunting-friend Rudi told me the first steps and secrets. The first gun I reloaded for was a 80-years old shotgun-rifle combination (in german:Büchsflinte) in .22 Savage HP.
Then I tried .22...
