I like the Ed's Red home brew. I do not use the lanolin. I keep two containers filled...one with acetone for bore cleaning and one without acetone for general CLP.
I run my 5.56 BCG really wet with Ed's. I think it makes clean-up easier after a range day.
It's very similar to Pro-Shot's...
The 25-06 is probably my personal favorite cartridge. I have a 1976 Rem 700.
24" barrel and 1:10
I like MRP with the 110 Accubond
and the 115/120 PT and BT.
I use winchester brass(67.45 h2o) and work up to about 56.6 (~3075fps)with the MRP as a max load. I think there's a sweet spot about...
I have the 260...stock isn't good by any stretch but I don't mind it. You will need to open up the barrel channel a little. Mine had one spot that rubbed the finish off the underside of the barrel.
The trigger is great if you like the accutrigger style.
You'll probably want to add some type...
260 Remington
Ruger American 22"
Rem Brass (55.1gr h2o)
CCI 250
129 NAB-LR
Magazine Length: 2.850"
Distance to lands: 2.915"
I have found two loads that are solid at 100 yards so the node is close. Both in that 0.7 range center to center and around 2750fps.
