    Check the OAL of the cases after you resize them. I can almot guarantee that they will be slightly longer than they started out. If you can get your hands on some Lake City brass, try some of them. BUT be careful with miltary brass as it is much thicker and loads will have to be worked back up...

    Wanted .243 Winchester loads

    I agree with JD338-----go with 41.0grs of IMR 4350 and a 100 grainer. I have seen this load work very well in several 243's.

    Is the 6.5 100gr BT bullet substantial enough for shoulder shots on whitetail at a muzzle velocity of 3400-3500 fps? Or Should I be concerned with break-up?

    Thanks Fred. After looking at other data I went with 46.5 grns to start. judging by pressure signs, It looks to be about a medium load. It gave me 3261fps average velocity from a 25 inch barrel. Will work up from there and post results. Thanks again guys. Rflshootr
