    Seeking Digital Scale Recommendations

Why was the Chargemaster Lite discontinued, if indeed it was? Is the Chargemaster Link basically the same thing? Anyone have the Chargemaster Link?

    Dead Deer

Shouldn't be the soy beans, they are not toxic to deer, but like someone mentioned maybe something they treated the soy beans with.

    E-tip w/o grooves?

Same here with my 25-06, I finally gave up on E-tips after several different seating depths and then trying several different powders. The rifle shoots 115g Ballistic tips great. For lead-free my rifle shoots Hammers bullets great as well.

    Federal 215

I just looked at some new Federal 210 and 210M that I bought this year and do NOT have that coating. It's definitely inconsistent whatever it is. Call or write Federal primers customer service and ask them.

Favorite powders for 120 PT in 25-06?

I don't blame you at all for that, I was going to say RL26 as it gives me the best accuracy and velocity with 115g and 120g. I tried several other powders and Magpro, IMR4831 and IMR7828ssc all did well in my 24" barrel M70.

    7mm 08 Ruger American

Both will work well for deer. When I had my 7mm-08 I used 120g BT'S over IMR4350, accurate and deadly. I have a Ruger American in 243 Win for a truck gun around the property, it's amazing how accurate they are.

I use CFE223 in my 22-250 with heavier bullets and in my 223 with 55g, works well.

Glad your neighbors, the firefighters and you were successful protecting the town and your homes along with the Gods help bringing rain. Thankfully our prayers helped and will continue to help until the fire is fully contained. Stay safe!

    Bullet shelf

Thanks for posting this Scotty, I looked at my bullet shelf and it was about to come crashing down as well. I bought some clear bins and put each caliber bullet in a separate bin. It's amazing how much a bunch a little boxes of bullets weigh.

I can't believe how many big wildfires there are in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. The smoke must be terrible. We had a large wildfire burn several miles away from us earlier this summer and the canyon where we live filled with smoke off and on for several days.

My wife and I both have the app on our phones and look at it several times a day as we are in a very high wildfire danger zone. We also have an alert that notifies us of a new fire in our area.

    6mm E-Tip 90 gr "real" min twist

https://bergerbullets.com/twist-rate-calculator/ Try entering the bullet specs and your info in Bergers twist rate calculator. You might want to measure the twist of your barrel as well, sometimes they are not what the manufacturer claims.

    6mm E-Tip 90 gr "real" min twist

PM sent. I tried Etips in my son's 243 years ago and never could get them to shoot accurately, it very well could have been the twist. The rifle sure shot Ballistic tips well.
