    Lee Collet Neck Sizer

All I do is neck size these days with my Lee collet die. Here's the deal: brass fired in a specific chamber will expand to fit that chamber. You don't need to full length resize (for 5-6 firings, anyway) since the brass conforms to that particular chamber. You need to match brass to a...

Reloader 26 and 160 NAB 7mm Rem Mag

Hornady has data for RL26 and 162 ELDX, but Nosler has no data for RL26 and 160 NAB (I called). I hear RL26 is the bee's knees in the 7mm Rem Mag. Anyone have experience with it and the 160 NAB? P

    150 ABLR in 7 Mag

I tried the 150 ABLR with just about everything, no luck. Then I tried MagPro with a 160 Accubond. Great accuracy and right at 3k velocity. If you want a higher BC, look at the 162 ELD-X. I'm getting 2957 fps with H1000 and a little over half inch groups. P

    Neck sizing question

I ran all of them through my rifle, close to 250 cases. Thirty-five didn't chamber, the rest were slick as snot. I'll check my brother's rifle too and FL resize any that don't chamber easily. P

    Neck sizing question

I currently load for 2 7mm Rem Mags, both Tikkas. I have a bunch of once-fired brass, all Remington. Most of it (2/3) was fired in Tikka 1, the rest in Tikka 2. If I neck size only and the brass chambers easily in both rifles, am I good to go or do I still need to FL resize? I'll make sure...

Changing loads for Elk vs. deer

Elk aren't armored. Put a well-constructed bullet (my experience is limited to Accubonds and Partitions) through the lungs and you'll have a dead cow. These elk were taken with a 7mm-08. One shot each. 140 Partition, 346 yards, exited. DRT. My dad's biggest bull so far, 140 Accubond...

I have a great load for my .30-06 but it doesn't shoot worth a hoot in my brother's rifle. I'm looking for options and I've settled on either 165 Accubond or 178 ELD-X. 22.5" barrel WLRM primer Remington brass 165 NAB either Big Game or Hunter 178 ELD-X Hunter Can someone run some magic for...

Maximum Effective Range with 120gr Ballistic Tip from 7mm-08

Your dad shot a bull in the shoulder twice with a .30-06 and it traveled two miles, bleeding generously the whole time? Elk sure got easier to kill in the last half century. 7mm-08, not a 120 BT, but certainly not a .30-06: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=27333 Two years later and 278 yards farther...
