308 Winchester 165 gr Solid Base Whitetail Country

I would love to see a .257 option in the Nosler Solid base, at least 100 grains in weight if not a 110.

    357 Magnum revolver problems

I even load it in my .25-20! It shoots great in that too!

    357 Magnum revolver problems

Reflex264 - +1 on Enforcer. Once I saw that it had a nearly identical burn rate with 2400, I began loading it in .357! It shoots great out of my Bisley Blackhawk with the 158 grain XTP! The best part is, Ramshot powders are still priced at about $30 per pound versus the $60-$75 price tags we...

    New Vintage Woods Rifle

There must be something in the water for short action .30’s! I just bought a 788 Remington .308 and am currently getting my grandfather’s 99EG .300 Savage restored.

308 Winchester 165 gr Solid Base Whitetail Country

Excellent! Thanks for sharing. If I hadn’t already committed to using the .300 WSM and Core-lokt Tipped ammo to fill my elk tag, this exact load would be employed in my 788 .308!

    165gr vs 180gr Partition

I have shot mule deer and elk with both 165 and 180 grain Partitions. The 165 grain Accubond outshoots both of them and performs just as well in my .30-06 so thats my go-to bullet. I have taken Mule Deer, Aoudad and Elk with the 165 grain Accubond.

    It wasn’t even close

Darn good shooting Don. I used Partitions for a while but the Accubond ourshoots them in every rifle that I have tried them both in. Greater accuracy and same performance, what’s not to like? Good luck, I expect lots of pictures!! Thanks again for that brass my friend!

    FS/FT: .25-06 brass

I have 207 pieces of .25-06 brass, all are once fired R-P and Hornady cases. 61 pieces of R-P and 146 pieces of Hornady, will not split up, selling as a lot. Asking $80 shipped OBO. Am interested only in virgin .257 Roberts brass or Nosler .257 110 grain Accubond bullets for trade items...

    Proud Father

We have taken our son out hunting with us ever since he was born. He was only 2 months old the first time he went. Am proud of the boy. I sure hope he and little sister both love shooting and hunting.

    30.06 , 180 grain PSP

For a grab and go cup and core bullet, the Remington Corelokt sure does a great job. It has been since 1939!!

    accubond 160 grain

Pretty typical performance in my experience. Love those Accubonds!

    308 pet loads

I always thought a 7400 in .308 would be perfect for Western Oregon Deer/Elk or Texas hogs on a feeder!

    308 pet loads

This. Varget has been my go-to in the .308 and several other like sized cartridges. For what I do with my .308 I like the 150 grain Sierra Gameking BTSP on top of 45 grains of Varget.

Best all around load .257 Roberts

I just ordered 200 of the 2nds. I am sure they will be a great all around bullet.

Best all around load .257 Roberts

Yeah that’s it. I have fooled around with .25-20, .25-35, .250-3000, .25-06 and .257 Weatherby Rifles. Its time I tried the Roberts!!
