Believe it or not, CFE223 really makes the .35 Whelen into a beast! Loaded up to 64gr - 64.5grs, can get the 225 gr bullets close to 2900fps. Now that’s COOKING!! With 250gr bullets, CFE223 can get them going to 2700 - 2750 fps! Right now, without a scope on the rifle, it’s weighing 9 - 10 lbs...
