The more I shoot the .260 rem with 129's the more I think I'm experiencing the same issues listed above. Bummer since I just bought two boxes from midwayusa while on a clearance sale. I'm going to try some 140gr accubonds next.

Neck tension has a significant influence on the burn rate in QL. I can see a good 30+ fps swing between using a mandrel and the ball expander on the rcbs dies. I haven't found the ratio yet as I do not measure the tension, but I'd say its .001-.002 difference in tension. Tried this on 22-250...

142 on top and 129 on bottom. I think they stabilize pretty well if 1.5 is the magic targeted number.... I don't have any Nosler brass or else I'd help you with QL. Midwayusa has a sweet deal on the 129's right now...

I go by the unspoken rule of distances on shooting forums. 90% of the time the target or animal is half the distance claimed to be.

If you can, make a plate system on your bench in the garage and secure the presses, vises, prep centers using plates. When not in use, keep the presses and equipment sealed up and stored somewhere?
