    Electrical wire

It's labeled "N" which is Neutral, but the multistrand next to it doesn't have insulation on it. When working on any power I "TURN OFF THE DISCONNECT" at the pole/meter or outside the house/building before touching anything! The black/red wire going to the 100A (220 single phase) goes to the...

    Electrical wire

Do you have a ground rod next to you power outside the house? If so, that's most likely what it's attached to and used multistrand wire instead of solid copper for ease of install.

    Electrical wire

With the braker being 200A and stating "main" it looks like a 220V/110V split. The middle 2 are ground, but a larger view would help me. What brand and model is the box? Doesn't appear to be or have GFI as most brakers I've seen have a red or yellow tab in the middle/on the toggle. Volt...

    Vihtavouri powders

I check Hornady, Berger, Speer, Nosler, Sierra and Barnes along with the use of quick load. I'm using ppu bullets for now until deciding on where to go on both 7-08 and 7saum. Both are AR's as is most of my rifles. My only BA's are long actions (264wm, 300wm & 338lm). Hoping someone will...

    Vihtavouri powders

Adding a 7saum to the mix, it shows to like those 2 powders also. VV doesn't post any loads for it. As a few like their fills to be 95-105% is 1 of my like-to-haves also. Not much on those below 95 and especially below 90%. Not saying it won't shoot good, only a preference.

    Vihtavouri powders

I bought 550 for 308win and then bought 560 for 6.5prc. It takes more case fill for the xx5's in those powders to achieve close to same velocity. 568 is the biggest case hog the is, but has its use. From 550-570 it has many uses for many cases. The 100 series is a good fit that uses even...

    Reloading Logs

when I 1st started reloading ('84) I wrote on the 20rds box the ammo came in. Winchester super-x 264wm ammo that I bought before I was13 until I bought ammo boxes that held 50rds. Saved the brass and boxes that I used when I started reloading. Kept info in the Sierra #5 also and only wrote...

    Reloading Logs

Best way to transfer or attach in folders on a pc is via usb cam. Take pics with it and move/create where needed. No need to rewrite everything! No cam for usb, just do it with your mobile device and transfer via bluetooth/router/cable.

    6.5 grendel scope

I have 2, but in AR's that both have lpvo's on them. I do like Athlon and Sig lpvo's w/28mm objectives (1-10 power).

    Mil vs moa

    truly funny!

    Mil vs moa

Mil fits between moa measurements. Learning new computations has its + and -'s. Most moa's are found in 1/4, but if you need/want finer adjustments there's 1/8. I have optics in moa of 1/4 & 1/8 and mil in .1 and .05. I run conversions in my head from moa to mil.

    Brass used in Reloading Manuals?

With Nosler, Hornady, Weatherby, Barnes, Norma and others that manufacture ammo and produce load data they are probably using their own brass (in some instances they don't). What you don't know is case volume although a rough estimate is given of case fill percentage.

    Brass used in Reloading Manuals?

Probably not virgin or reloaded 10x. I would like too see more info like case volume, pressures and lead/off lands numbers. Some state pressures and case fill, but way to general. Some give best accuracy also, but only per powder used.

    Staball HD

Here's what I'm thinking about trying? You can add powder in the powder section of QL and knowing volume per cc, known velocity you should be able to adjust/tweak values. Going by burn rate and heat charts of "it sits between these 2" for possible and faster adjustments? Just a thunk?
