Just to comment on the possible lead bullet ban. We are not saying that it is right or wrong, but it looks like it is coming to more places than some might realize. If I heard correctly, Massachusetts is in line and a rumor about Michigan popped up. Arizona has talked about it also. Not to...
Choosing between the Partition and the Accubond is like choosing between children. Both bullets need to have no less than 1800fps for an impact velocity. The AccuBond is ideal around 3000 fps maximum while the Partition can hit at a little faster velocity. This probably is not much of a problem...
The entire bullet is made from gilding metal. There is not a jacket over the copper or a coating. The entire thing, excluding the polymer tip is made from gilding metal. I hope that clears things up.
I am sure that all of you are now aware that the 280AI brass is out and available. I am sorry that we were not able to update all of you before now.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I heard a rumor today. I heard that Winchester will not be offering the 7STW brass for 2008. Maybe we should jump in the ring?
I am sorry that I missed this post!! We still have not heard any talk about this cartridge being offered from Nosler. You never know what will happen though.
The Norma and the Federal ammunition use the same bullet, but we put an orange tip in the Norma bullets. The powders, cases and primers will most likely vary as well.
Good news! the NoslerCustom 260 brass lives. We have finally boxed it and it is ready to ship. Feel free to buy it direct or look for it at your local retail shops.
We are ecstatic that you like the brass. We will keep it coming. You should see the 260 Remington available this month. Also keep an eye out for the new offerings for next year.
Your request has been submitted, and we will see what we can do. We have gotten a lot of requests for the short mag brass. I think that the biggest hold up is time.
Buckfever is part correct. Old military rifles are definately a concern, but another concern is accuracy. Who cares how fast a bullet is going if you can't hit what you are aiming at? The velocity is dictated by available rifles and accuracy on the 8x57.
