The Nosler #6 Reloading Guide will have data for the 375 Ruger and the 338 Federal. Also there will be info on the 204 Ruger, WSSM's and the 7mm RUM. We hope to have expanded data on other cartridges like the 30-378 Weatherby, 338 RUM and the 6.5-284 Norma.
I believe that the left hand Nosler rifle will come to fruition some time next year. From what I have been told, the rifle will start with the model 48. I hope that I am right on this one. I talk to someone every month about a LH rifle, so I know that the demand is there.
It sounds like the only issue the rifle customers have has is communication. I completely agree with that and want to again assure you that we are striving to solve that problem completely. We have been working on an e-mail data base where we can contact everyone at once. We will be sending an...
I do not know what the exact data will be for the 280AI when it is finally 100% SAAMI approved, but I can tell you that we will publish it.The data will also be more impressive than the current data that we have. You will find it in our new reloading guide. Hopefully we will see the manual on...
Nosler offers just about all of the Weatherby cartridges in loaded ammunition, but only the 300wby in the brass. We will have to wait and see for more brass offerings.
I love this topic. It is truly amazing what will sell a product. The item may not be what you really want but because of how it looks a person will jump all over it. Those poly tipped bullets sure do help sell product. Look at that inexpensive Wolf ammunition. They use those FMJ bullets in the...
More offerings for the 308 will be coming. It just takes time. The 165gr PT load that we offer is at 2800fps so I am sure that the 165AB will be there too.
Winchester and Remington both offer 264 Win Mag brass. I do not know what Nosler will do. I would be nice if we could offer it all so that we could use the best brass for all of our cartridges.
Unfortunately the 8mm has never taken off in the US. That is the reason that the 325wsm is called that instead of 323wsm which would be more appropriate and correct.
The reason that the 350Rem Mag ammo has a slower velocity is because the accuracy starts to suffer when we speed it up. I realize that the cartridge is capable of so much more, but who cares how fast you shoot if you can't hit what you are aiming at?
That is correct. All Nosler ammunition is hand loaded in house by our expert technicians to insure that each round is as consistant as the next. As far as the price difference goes, I think that you will find that there is no longer that much of a difference.
Definitely a Partition or AccuBond number one. After that either a 180gr or 200gr bullet. Your 300mag may limit how long a bullet you can use. I would prefer the 200gr AB but you mag box may be too short. That is why we build the 180gr Partition with the protected point.
It will be interesting to see what happens with this cartridge. The last report I got was that it kicks like a mule. Nosler will have the load data in their #6 reloading guide.
SAAMI has not yet finalized the cartridge to the full extent. We are starting to get data back on the lighter grained bullets. I have no idea how long this process takes, but i can tell you that we are not going to wait around. The rifles will go on. We will start shipping at the end of April.
