Might be worth sending it down the road and starting out fresh with a new one buddy. JD338

    70 grain .224 RDF

What is the twist rate on your 22-250? If it's a 1:14t, you will have issues stabilizing most 70 gr bullets. I've got a 22 Nosler with a 8t and have shot the 77 gr RDF on targets and steel out to 400 yards. For coyotes, bobcat and woodchucks, I use the 70 gr AB. It works well so long as you stay...

    6.5 Remington Magnum Help

You can try a faster powder but shooting+/- 60 grs of any powder in a 18.5" barrel is going to have muzzle flash. I had excellent accuracy with IMR4831 and the 125 gr PT in a M673 Guide rifle. JD338

Bertram Brass and an orange hue?

I've had Remington brass look like that. Probably from cleaning during its manufacturing process. JD338

    Handgun reloading, dumb question.

I have worked up loads in single shot pistols the same as a rifle with success. For revolvers, I've always tried to stay under a Max load. Usually using the most accurate powder listed in the Nosler RG and had pretty good results. H110 240 gr bullets work great in my S&W 629 Classic so I never...

    MEC 12ga Graber press

Roger I have the same MEC Grabber loader. Bought mine back in the early 80's and have no issues with it. It's what I use now for my 12 ga trap loads. JD338

28 nosler with 160 ballistic tips

The 160 BT would be fine for elk but myself, I would use the 160 AB for elk. It will hold together and bust through a shoulder. JD338

Is it possible 3000 ft lbs 708?

I agree with the others that it can't be done safely with a 7-08. Look at a 280 AI or 7mm Rem Mag to hit 3k JD338
