Sounds almost like my Competitor Arms Pistol. Over 300 calibers were offered. Muzzle brakes were optional and in your case absolutely needed. I have a muzzle brake for my 30.06 barrel and it works beautifully.
Guy, I experienced my heart attack in July of 2020. I was fortunate in that it was 7AM in the morning and I had just sat down for breakfast. Never had such serious pain before. My wife got me to the ER in six minutes. (hospital was very close) The Doctor told me if I had been out SCUBA diving or...
Doc, where I live in Florida is just a little bit North of Iguana Territory. They are working their way up slowly so I'm sure in the near future I will be investing in a Good Air Rifle. From what I've heard they are good eating so that gives it a little more incentive. They do get big. When...
My favorite is the 7-08 followed closely by the .338RUM. My hunting nowadays is based around Whitetails but for the many years I hunted Elk the .338 Ruled the roost. The best Elk getter I've ever owned.
Ahhh, as everyone else, over the years I've had many different Rifles/shotguns/handguns. Presently a Christensen Arms .300WM, a Remington 700 short action Titanium in 7MM-08 (my all around deer rifle, will never part with it). A Rem 700 .338RUM that is the best damn Elk Rifle I've ever owned...
I ordered 2000 primers from Republic Reloading in Lima, Ohio. Small pistol made in Bosnia Herzegovina. The primers work perfect and are $79.00 a thousand. With shipping and Hazmat came to $200.00. That's the best I could do.
I've had my P35 for years and it's still accurate and fills the bill perfectly for what I need. Oehler sure does know how to make a piece of equipment.
I purchased 2000 primers for $200.00 from Republic Ammunition in Lima Ohio. The price covered hazmat and shipping. The primers come from Bosnia Herzigovina and work perfectly.(small pistol) I received them 4 days after placing the order. The actual list price of the primers was $79.00.
I've been running a Sierra 65 Grain Spitzer boat tail on Deer and Hogs and have had good success. I spoke with one of the Sierra Techs in regards to that bullet and I was told it is a hard bullet and will work well on Deer sized animals.
My thought would be when you deprime the case check the primer to see if it ignited. If not and it has a firing pin mark obviously the primer is defective in some way.
I have a Christensen arms Ridgeline in .300 Mag. Very well made. Installed a Zeiss scope on it. I had mine throated by a local gunsmith. Shoots lights out. I haven't heard anything about accuracy problems.
