I had good luck with the 165 interbond in my .308 Winchester, they were sensitive to seating depth. I think you'll find a sweet spot in your next range session with the 0.010" seating depths you're doing! I really like that bullet, elk don't tho.
Side note, I had to seat them too...
I've put Wyatt extended magazine boxes in my 700 actions before, lets me seat bullets out much further and not become single shots. I've even got a long throated .300 win mag for 215gr hybrids, it is loaded to over 3.600" OAL, lets me use the maximum case volume for powder and I can still feed...
I've currently got a Leupold VX-3 6.5-20x50mm LR scope on my .300 Win. Mag. It currently has a fine Duplex reticle, I have been pondering sending it in and having a wind plex reticle installed. I feel it would be very useful in quick windage adjustments. My concern is the cross hairs will be...
I see what you're saying, and I don't disagree with you. What I was trying to convey, is the ballistic programs are dang good, and to be off by such a huge margin, something has to be off. What, I don't know, just suggesting starting with start with the program and the inputs you put into them...
What BC are you using? Nosler'a or someone else's? What chronograph? Did you use elevation or air pressure or both? Also do your best to measure your actual scope height, if you have telescoping gauges, it's quick and very accurate.
Finally, set a target at 100 yards, shoot a group and then...
Phone scopes are awesome! This video was taken with a phone scope and a Swarovski spotting scope, turned out pretty dang good, I think!

Plus the video to replay shots for further study and learning affects of wind is dang near priceless in my opinion.
 I've used the 215 in two barrels on my personal .300 one in 1-10" and the other a 1-9" twist, I also have shot them out of several other .300 win mags (buddy's I've converted  ) who all have 1-10" twist barrels, you will not have a problem with bullet stability. They will...
For deer I do think the ELD's will work, but I also think they'll be messy. Personally I am a big fan of Berger's, I've used the 210 VLD and in the last few years I've switched to the 215gr Hybrid. I have been very pleased with the accuracy, precision external and terminal ballistics. I'd look...
2,950 for a 210-215gr bullet is normal for a .300 Win. Mag. I've shot a number of bullets in that weight range in mine and 2,950-3,000 is the norm.
I would caution you with that particular bullet in a .300 win mag, penetration was very poor, actually flat out awful, on elk we shot this past...
