    7mm mag scope for hunting?

I would stick with the VXII 3-9x40

    6.5 accubonds

120 gr. would be my preferred weight in my 260 Rem 1-8" twist, but I certainly would take a 125 gr. Please no 140 gr., not too many people use the 264 Win Mag compared to the 260/6.5x55 shooters :o :(

Reloading Data for the Accubond 160 gr in 7mm Remington Mag

54.0 grs. H4831 is a very mild load, I'd start at a charge of more like 60 grains and work up. 65-66 grs. H4831 should be about your max load... be careful

    260 Rem or 257 Roberts

260 Remington, without a doubt. Ability to load bullets heavier than 120 gr. really makes it stand out from the 257 Bob. A 140 gr. bullet at moderate velocity (2700 fps) really will thump big bodied Whitetails. 8)

    7mm Rem Mag Load Data?

RL25 or H1000 would be a decent choice as well, fills up the case a bit more. around 70 grains is max, work up slowly from below this charge...

the Speer 350 gr. Mag-Tip is one hell of a bullet for the price, but sleek she ain't!

    Any .260 Remington shooters??

I have loaded Varget with the 100 gr. Ballistic Tip. 43.0 grs. gave me 3072 fps avg out of my 22" barrel. I would start at 39 grs. and work up slow. My 1-9" twist will shoot the 140's quite well. I had a little problem with the loooooong 140 gr. XLC, they were not stabilizing below 2600...

    Any .260 Remington shooters??

I shoot 260 Remington  I own two stainless m700 mountain rifles chambered in 260 Rem. One I got has a lightweight fiberglass stock and my other is a factory LSS mtn rifle Its a great cartridge and I love shooting and handloading for it. My favorite load is probably the 140 gr...

    338 Accubond 225 gr.

The 225 gr. AB will be on my short list of bullets to try in my new 338 RUM. Launched at around 3000 fps, should be dy-no-mite on big critters out to 400+ yards

    light weight .270

It always struck me as odd that Nosler didnt make a 110 gr. Partition for smaller deer in .277" :? Or a 100 gr. Ballistic Tip for varmints. I guess the 270 works pretty darn good with 130 gr. loads

    416

I totally agree. A 325 gr. Accubond would be a great load for those shooters who chase elk, moose, and bear in NA with their 416's. I fear a 350 gr. Partition would have a low BC and shed velocity quite fast past 200 yards. but the 350 gr. Speer Mag-Tip has worked well for me in my...

What Power for 260 REM with 100 gr Nosler BT o ST?

IMR 4064 should work well with 100 gr. loads in the 260. Similar powders that have worked well for me is RL15 and Varget.

    6.5MM CT Bullet selection

well since Winchester will probably never load the 260 Remington or load premium 6.5x55 ammo, I doubt we will see any CT loads soon. If a 6.5WSM was introduced, then yes, I could see a 125 gr. Accubond CT or even a 140 gr. Partition Gold...but dont hold your breath.

What s Your Favorite Nosler Hunting Bullet in .260?

I have shot three deer with my m700 mtn rifle in 260 Remington. The first two fell to 140 gr. Nosler Partitions, and the last one was taken with a 140 gr. Sierra GameKing BTSP. I much prefer the 140 gr. Nosler Partition, holds together well. I have loaded the 120 gr. Ballistic Tips but have...
