It came in today and boy is it an awesome stock. Here's the rifle. Remington 700 XCRII .300 Win Mag topped with a vortex viper 6.5-20x44. The stock is a McMillan HTG, adjustable cheek piece, adjustable length of pull, flush cup mounts and a bipod stud.

The VX-R should be a high quality piece of gear, with the duplex you should easily be able to pick up targets during the day. The VX-R goes down to 1.5X, and I, personally, would like it more if it went down to a true 1x on the low end. If you don't mind the 1.5X the go for the VX-R.

How was the turn around time? Did you go with one of their packages or did you just have them upgrade here and there?

Talk about an antelope laser! If the ALRs really do expand at velocities as low as 1300 fps, the effective range of this thing with the ALR would be just over 1400 yards, with 638 ft/lbs of energy and only 11.1 mils up with a 100 yard zero.
