    New lot of brass?

My good load was at 3100 but there was the start of pressure signs. I would get a round here and there with heavy bolt lift. I don't care for the PPU brass so I'm trying the Hornady brass. I would really like to get 3100 with accuracy. I don't have any 26 on hand to try, but I'm looking...

    New lot of brass?

I'm tossing a lot of PPU 25-06 brass that I used in my 6.5-06. I had a good load with 54.5 grains of RL22 and 125 partitions but had pressure signs at 3100 fps. I'm switching to Hornady brass. I tried a few shots at 54.5 grains just to see if I could get lucky but the groups opened up. Speeds...

    Sako 75-5 300WBY

Long time no post. Hope everyone is doing well. I have a Sako 75-5 in 300wby that I would like to mess around with. Thinking it would be a great long distance rifle. It currently shoots 180 AccuBonds very well. Thinking about putting a McMillian stock on it and a Vortex Viper 4-16x44 scope...

    6.5 125 Partitions

Does anyone have a stash that they would be willing to part with? I'm looking to buy 50-200 bullets if you have them. I would really like blems if you have them. Thanks

Decided To Try and Make A Difference

Awesome job. I just finished my 3rd year of trapping coyotes. I got 49 this winter. 36 from a 2 mile radius. The one farmer where I have trapped 3 years says he sees more deer/fawns now than ever before. Keep up the good work!!!

    WY Antelope!!

I have not been on the site for a long time. Too much going on with trapping, fishing and spring turkey hunting. I did apply for a Wyoming antelope tag in the Special draw and got a tag. Looks like I get to head west this fall and see if I can find a buck to chase around. I drew area 73...

    End of His Quest!

This deer was shot 45 minutes south of me. Cool story. The deer was living very close to a frack sand plant on the edge of town so he was well known by the locals. Can't wait to see it in person someday.

    WY Elk!!

I don't have a solid plan for my next trip, but I have a feeling it will be in CO with a muzzleloader.

    WY Elk!!

Sorry about the long delay. Life has been kinda busy. The drive out to WY was boring until we hit snow at the eastern boarder of WY and had to drive on bad roads for 6 hours. After that it was smooth sailing. We set camp up and had 5 hours to scout the day before the hunt. I had a spot to...

    WY Elk!!

Well, time is coming near. I have almost everything packed, food is ready, and I just shot out to 300 one more time to double check my rifle. This summer/fall I have been working out with P90x3 and feel like I'm in decent shape. We leave in a few days for the mountains and I will hope to post...

    2018 Wy bucks

Thanks for the info. I believe that you put max effort into getting those bucks. They don't live 300 yards off the road!!!

    2018 Wy bucks

Nice shooting on some great deer. Not asking for your exact location but would you be willing to share what region or part of the state you hunted? How many points to draw?

Can I put a broadhead through a shoulder?

Stay AWAY from the shoulder. One thing that I tell myself and my wife is to aim for the heart. If the deer drops to run, the arrow will still get lungs.

    25-06 and noslers 110gr accubond

My 25-06 does well with the 110 Accubond and RL19. .75" groups if I do my job. Your rifle will hammer deer with that load.

    Slams

The NA slam is a dream but will never happen. I have created a few slams of my own here in WI. A single season slam of an antlered deer, tom turkey and a bear. I have done that one twice. I'm currently working on a gauge slam for turkey 12/16/20/28/410 all in Remington 870s. (I know I'm...
