Using Nosler 6.5-284 neck it down to 6 and run it really simple. That load I shot yesterday 3-4 grs below max and running around 3400 with 90AB.

Got a few new toys a Pre-64 M70 in 6-284 a M70 SS Classic in a Micky Edge in 7 MSM and a G29 handgun. First handgun they are different creatures.
Shot the 6-284 with 54 gr 7828 90 AB at 2.750" .210" jump not too bad of a start.
Wasn't the ultimate shadow a blued model with the CRF and that funky textured stock. I think from looking at its a classic stainless in the Tupperware factory stock. The other side would do wonders. I believe the ultimate came out after Win sold to FN.
Don't forget the Ruger MKII V/T mine in 22-250 is a tack driver great trigger too. I picked mine up for a steal with a Nikon 6-18 Buckmasters on it never shot for $600.
After first firing I neck size only unless I have chambering issues. When you neck size only after firing to the chamber you get less stretch. Some calibers are inherently prone to stretching such as a 22-250 243 300 H&H others are not such as 6.5-284 280AI. The cases with sharp shoulders and...
