    Loading for the 257 bee

I use this same recipe. 69.5 g of RL22 gives me 5/8" groups at 3480 FPS out of once fired factory WBY brass and Fed 215 match primers. The cost of Weatherby factory ammo is the reason I started reloading too.

44 Rem Mag quickload powder recommendations

I've never loaded for this round before. A friend of mine has a Win 94 carbine chambered in .44 Rem Mag. He wants to shoot the 225 g FTX Hornady bullet out of Hornady brass. What powders should I look to first? Thank you in advance!

    .25/06 vs elk

There is a fella up in the Northwest Territories that uses his .25-06 routinely on moose. He really admires his old .25-06.

    125 gr BT in a 30-06?

The only thing better than a 25-06 in a vanguard is a .257 WBY. Just more of a good thing (y) If you want to avoid buying another gun you may want to seek help in a different forum bud

    Hunting in upstate NY

I've never hunted NY. I visited my aunt and uncle a couple times, 25 yrs ago, and remember it being scenic but I don't think it can be mentioned in the same breath as the one time I was in Alaska to hunt. Given a choice I would need a SERIOUS promotion to even consider moving from Alaska to NY...

    Blue Moon Moose Opener

Glad you had a good time chasing swamp donkey's. I really enjoyed the blueberries when I was moose hunting a couple years ago. Hopefully you punch your tag and share the experience with the rest of us.
