    reduced loads for a 243??

    I loaded up a light 55gr ballistic tip and had a child shoot targets, milk jugs, a metal plate at 200yrd and woodchucks to build confidence and learn fundamentals. Then loaded 90gr ballistic tips for deer and he never knew the difference when it came time to shoot a deer.

    I just had a rifle built in a 28 nosler. Using a rail from the action maker, Stiller, and nightforce ultralight rings 4 screw version, holding a nightforce nxs 5.5x22x50. How long till that set up goes and sh!ts the bed on me??.?.

    Thanks fortis.... and yes that group can do that all day long. I just loaded 70. Also loaded 4 of those 70 seated in .020 deeper to see if it tightens up any. Gonna test those on a calm day and report back. I can reseat the other ones if they are better.

    Not sure.... don’t have a chronograph... that’s another step I need to do yet... but 26in barrel , 81.5gr of RETUMBO, 160gr Accubond (bc .531 and sd .283) and 250 CCI primers. Anybody have a computer program that can plug in that information and give an estimate?

    Yes exactly and Yes, I dropped down to 81.2 and 81.3 and 81.4 all with the same seating depth of 3.435 and none of them where better than the 81.5 charge..     I did. That was the 1st picture. I did a ladder test last week and that was at 81.5gr and seated at 3.435 So I then adjusts the seating depth out more and then put it back to th original then dropped it bay .1 down to 81.2 thru 81.4 with not good results as the 81.5
