Do you have any factory loads for it? I have 2 boxes if ya wanna kick me a few bucks for shipping.... 160gr accubond btw. Then you could a load a few up after shooting some of the factory rounds to see if it was the brass or not....

All done. He sent me this pic today. Will be test firing it by the end of next week.. how do the darker colors in the stock match the action and barrel?

How about a wsm in either 7mm or 30 cal? Put a vais brake on it and you’d have a magnum with the recoil of a .243win

Feelings,,,, I’m ok with taking the life of an animal (to include the 2 legged if need be) and can sleep well at night. Now true feelings when I get into the woods is that I “feel” a code brown every time... I don’t know what it is about the woods but every time I get far from indoor...

Update—- Barrel finally shipped from carbon 6. Will arrive at the gun smith this Friday.. hopefully have some pictures of it assembled soon.

I’m getting ready to have my .243 barrel pulled off my 700 sps for a carbon barrel install. About 80 rounds thru it. You can have it if you want it when it’s off. Shoots fine.

Looking to get a carbon 6 barrel on a 700 short action in .243win. What is a good barrel length and twist rate for predominantly 90 accubonds and once in a while some 55gr ballistics tips? Is a 20 inch barrel to short?
