    Range day - 300 WM

Didn’t chrono them, but plan on heading out again soon and will check velocity. This is the first time I’ve ever tried the E-Tip and won’t be the last!

    Range day - 300 WM

Thanks guys. I got drawn for anterless moose and elk this season so quite happy using the E-Tip. Tried the 200gr AB and it’s not too shabby either.

Bought some Lapua brass. Problem solved [emoji6]

    Tight primer pockets

That explains the difficulty seating primers. I bought the brass already once fired, so not sure of the exact factory load. Off to buy a crimp remover [emoji9]

    Tight primer pockets

Here is the brass. Almost looks like they have a crimp?

    Tight primer pockets

I tried Win, CCI and Fed primers and same result. They are commercial cases. I will post pics when I have a chance. Never experienced this before. I have dealt with Federal cases with loose pockets.

    Tight primer pockets

I picked up some Hornady match brass for my .308 Win and found the pockets to be extremely tight. To the point it crushed some primers trying to seat. Thinking of picking up a primer pocket reamer but was wondering which one. Any suggestions?

    A rare find

JD338, thanks alot and you are so right. Those big bore levers can pack quite the punch and can be very underestimated. It's too bad Nosler doesn't make a BT for the 444. Would be a dandy.

    A rare find

Thanks guys. It currently has Skinner rear sight on it, but my eyes aren’t what they used to be and am thinking of putting a Redfield 2-7x on it. I have 300 Hornady 265gr bullets all ready and might also try some 300gr XTP.

    A rare find

Some years ago I owned a 444P, and in a moment of stupidity sold it [emoji31] Well, I finally tracked another one down [emoji4]

    90 grain Accubond

Impressive indeed. What powder are you using in the 240? I’m assuming it is a Mk V?
