Anyone have any experience with these? Seen them on the shelves at sportsman's but not at the range or in the field. Seem to be similar to tikka in design and target audience. Not much info out there. The cherokee or attacama models are of interest to me. Anybody shot one?

I'm really liking the 240 weatherby these days for anything mule deer size and smaller, including barbary (aoudad) ewes. If I want bigger for rams or elk a 308 or 280 gets the nod. My favorite elk rig is a TC omega 50 cal, taken my last eight with it.

Great dog pic! Just finished up the season with my first hunting dog (GSP). Elk hunting certainly has it's virtues but I'm beginning to think true happiness is shooting pointed birds:)

I have the v2, been very happy with it. Have not noticed that it effects accuracy, my good loads shoot just as well with it on, it can change poi on some rifles. Suggest figuring out which shims to use for particular barrels before you get to the range, will save you some time and fooling around

I hear ya about the range guys, some of the younger dudes can be irritating for sure, need to hold a quick seminar for them and explain muzzle breaks...pretty nice facilities though if you need a bench or like to shoot some skeet. In their defense they do have to stay ahead of whatever...
