I've never used magnum primers in my Ackley loads, but I would if that's all I had access to. The only 140s I've loaded for it are the Barnes TTSX. Those shot so well that I never tried anything else in that weight. With H4350 I'm getting right around 3200 fps and 0.5 MOA.

Nice Find! I really like those pump guns for woods rifles. I've got 3 of them in the newer model 7600 version, 308, 06, & 35 Whelen. I favor the Leupold VX3 in either 1.5-5 or 2.5-8 for this type of rig.
