Happy New Year to all. I expect it to be pretty quiet here. We're still cleaning up from the storms last week and are more than a little tired. I guess using a saw all day will do that to you.
This was a decent morning. He was the 3rd buck I saw that morning counting the one that crossed in front of me going to the woods. I saw some movement about 80 yards from me and saw him and his buddy feeding on acorns. I think I shot the smaller of the 2 but the other had moved through the...
I've never tested them as you guys do but I did shoot one this morning. I think this makes 4 shots and 4 deer down with them in that rifle. He ran about 30 yards before giving up.
How fast/reliable is the shipping? I finally found the bullets I've been wanting for years and ordered a box. Just curious if I should expect any issues. Not just with Nosler but whoever they use to ship.
Thanks!
I'd love to have one of those bags of the Solid Base bullets. Probably don't have anything you would be interested in but would happily buy them if you would be interested in selling.
No pictures but I shot an old doe this morning with my trusty BAR in 7mm Rem. mag. I was using some 140 gr. Accubonds from a box I was able to purchase before things got completely crazy. If I remember right, that made either 7 or 8 I have gotten with that combination. That is a deadly...
I'd love to find a box or so of 150 gr. Accubonds if anyone has some they are willing to part with. It doesn't appear they will make any in the near future.
I shot a buck last weekend.
Was using a 150gr Partition in my 7mm Rem. Mag.
3rd deer I've gotten with this combination. Not what would come to mind if someone says he shot a 4 point. I had pictures of him back in September but none since. I thought he went somewhere else.
I fully support Cheyenne. I'd be interested in learning more about ways to use the parts of an animal I typically "waste" and to be honest; we may could all learn something if she would care to share.
I own a couple of rifles chambered for this cartridge. So, I have brass being fired from both. My question is this (and I pray it makes sense): Are there any issues reloading these since they are not fired from same rifle? I plan to full length resize them and only plan to use them in one of the...
I have. My wife shot a small buck several years back and I stopped him before he topped a hill. Hit him between the shoulder blades and bullet stopped in his neck. Quite a shock to see it but it did it's job.
