My .260 Remington would be the last I would let go of. I’m still mad I didn’t buy one of the ADL .260’s when they rereleased them with the 8 twist.

I think your post years ago lead my to H1000.
H1000 with 105’s in my 243 and cci250’s got consistent hits at 1000yds on a 18” plate using a Leupold mark ar 3-9x40 with straight duplex. I bought quite a bit of H1000 because it performs so well.

Same here, 48.5grs imr4198 and the 300 Speer at 1985fps in my Guide Gun.
If I need more, and I don’t, but if I think I do, then it’s 59.0grs H4895 and the 350 Hornady FP at 1922fps.
I like faster twists on my stuff because it allows for more bullet options. I’ve never seen a faster twist shoot worse with shorter bullets. For .308 10, 11 or 12 would all work though.
